Then this is the event for ewe. Join us in Newburgh, Fife for this two-part crash course in agroforestry!

Date: Wednesday 27th September

Time: 10 am – 3 pm

This event will give you the opportunity to hear from agroforestry expert Stephen Briggs, Abacus Agriculture/Whitehall Farm about the basics of agroforestry systems and why and how they might work from you. The event will then give you an opportunity to visit Roger Howison at Parkhill Farm and their hugely successful silvoarable system and work through future planting possibilities with Stephen.

We will look at and discuss:

  • location,
  • design,
  • species choice,
  • ongoing management to meet your objectives and
  • new agroforestry funding .

We are keen to get your questions answered so what do you want to know? Just drop us an email. We will have staff from Scottish Forestry joining us.  Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
